Cavinder Twins Call Out Beck After Breakup Amid Controversy

Miami, FL — The Cavinder twins have made headlines once again, this time for publicly addressing allegations surrounding quarterback Carson Beck. Following reports of a breakup that hinted at some transgressions, Haley and Hanna Cavinder supported each other during UFC 314 while taking shots at Beck.

In a video captured at the event, one of the twins declared, “never cheat on my twin,” and referred to Beck as a “little b-word.” This brazen response comes amid speculation regarding Beck’s relationship and performance, further inflamed by comments from Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, who criticized Miami for offering Beck over $4 million in NIL compensation.

“Did they watch his game against us?” Kiffin asked, referencing Beck’s underwhelming showing following his previous season at Georgia.

In contrast to his past, Beck struggled significantly during the 2024 campaign with fewer passing yards and touchdowns than the previous year. He completed just 64.7% of his pass attempts after boasting an impressive 72.4% completion rate in 2023. In addition, Beck threw 12 interceptions last season compared to only six the year before.

Despite the lackluster season, many fans anticipated Beck would stay with Georgia. Instead, he stirred up attention across college football by announcing his entry into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Miami wasted no time in recruiting the former Georgia quarterback, filling the vacancy left by their Heisman candidate. This decision comes after Beck suffered a season-ending elbow injury during Georgia’s SEC Championship victory over Texas last season. Fortunately, he was cleared to engage in physical activities earlier this week.

Miami head coach Mario Cristobal expressed his excitement about welcoming Beck to the team, praising his athleticism, intelligence, arm strength, and leadership qualities. “He’s a great human being and he’s demonstrated leadership qualities. He’s really hard on himself. He wants to be great, and one of his best qualities is that he wanted to be at Miami,” Cristobal said.
