Celebrity chef James Martin recently stunned fans with the revelation of his split from long-time girlfriend Louise Davies, only to surprise them again with the disclosure of his romance with James Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli.
Barbara Dana Broccoli, born in Los Angeles in 1960 and raised in London, is the daughter of renowned producer Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli and actress Dana Wilson Broccoli.
Broccoli, a graduate from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in motion picture and communications, was previously married to director and producer Frederick M. Zollo with whom she shares a child.
Having a reported net worth of $400 million, Broccoli’s illustrious career in the Bond series began at 17, eventually leading her to take the reins of Eon Productions in 1995 alongside her brother Michael G. Wilson.
Together, the duo has produced nine iconic Bond films, including blockbuster hits like “Skyfall” and “No Time To Die”.
In recognition of her contributions, Barbara Broccoli was appointed CBE and received the prestigious David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures.
Post the success of the 60th Anniversary Diamond Gala at Shaftesbury Theatre in 2016, Broccoli was honored with the role of president at the National Youth Theatre.
Her involvement in stage productions includes co-producing stage adaptations of classics like “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “Chariots of Fire the latter stemming from her connection with friend Dodi Fayed.
James Martin‘s connection with Barbara Broccoli, a friendship turned romance of five years, came to an end when she proposed an extravagant gesture of gifting him a £180,000 Aston Martin, a moment that marked a turning point in their relationship.
