Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 3 Premieres with Star-Studded Lineup
Celebrity Jeopardy! returned to ABC on January 8, 2025, with a star-studded lineup of 27 celebrities competing for a $1 million charity prize. The third season of the popular quiz show kicked off with New Girl star Max Greenfield among the first contestants, alongside Camilla Luddington and W. Kamau Bell in the premiere episode.
In a promotional video released ahead of the season premiere, Greenfield humorously admitted to minimal preparation for the competition. “I thought about studying, but then I realized I’d have to study everything. And so, I stopped,” he quipped. “Now I’m here… not far at all.”
The season will feature a diverse roster of celebrities, including Neil deGrasse Tyson, Rachel Brosnahan, Melissa Peterman, and Margaret Cho, among others. The tournament is divided into nine quarterfinal matches, with the top performers advancing to the semifinals and finals in April 2025.
Past winners of Celebrity Jeopardy! include Ike Barinholtz, who won Season 1 and donated his $1 million prize to Pacific Clinics, and Lisa Ann Walter, the Season 2 champion who supported the Entertainment Community Fund. Walter is set to return for the 2025 Tournament of Champions.
Fans can catch the weekly episodes every Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC, with the schedule subject to change. The show promises intense competition, unexpected twists, and plenty of laughs as celebrities test their knowledge for a good cause.
