50 Cent Lawsuit Suv Door Assault Photographer

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson, is facing a lawsuit after allegedly directing an entourage member to hit a photographer with an SUV door, according to court documents filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, claims the incident occurred on September 11, 2024, outside The Grove in Los Angeles. Plaintiff Guadalupe De Los Santos, a photographer, alleges he was knocked off his electric scooter when the front passenger door of 50 Cent’s SUV swung open, striking him on his left side. The incident reportedly happened after 50 Cent’s book signing event.

De Los Santos claims the door was intentionally opened to harm him, resulting in bodily injuries and rendering his scooter inoperable. He is seeking damages for medical expenses, lost earnings, and emotional distress.

In response, 50 Cent took to Instagram to mock the lawsuit, sharing a photo of himself with attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing De Los Santos. The rapper captioned the post, “The moment I realized I don’t like lawyers, 😆 Gloria you should know better, chase a different ambulance.”

Allred, a prominent women’s rights attorney, has represented clients in high-profile cases involving celebrities, including Thalia Graves against Sean “Diddy” Combs and victims in cases against Roman Polanski and Bill Cosby.

An attorney for 50 Cent issued a statement denying the allegations, calling the lawsuit “frivolous” and vowing to seek dismissal and sanctions. The statement emphasized that 50 Cent was neither the driver nor the individual who allegedly opened the door.

The lawsuit has sparked widespread attention, with 50 Cent’s social media post adding fuel to the controversy. The case is expected to proceed in Los Angeles Superior Court, with both sides preparing for a legal battle.
