Cheyenne Woods: Life in the Spotlight and at Home

Cheyenne Woods, the talented golfer and niece of famous golfer Tiger Woods, celebrated her 34th birthday on July 25, 2024. Her connection with the sport runs deep, not only through her own achievements but also through her family ties.

Woods first met MLB center fielder Aaron Hicks while interviewing him for her podcast, “Birdies Not BS.” Hicks, who played golf until he was a teenager, thanks Woods for helping him improve his short game. Their relationship blossomed, and they tied the knot in 2022, now sharing the joy of raising two children together.

Woods has had her own share of successes on the greens, including winning the 2014 Volvik RACV Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour. Although she was a rookie on the LPGA in 2015, she currently doesn’t have LPGA status and has no plans to return to full-time play. However, she mentioned she is open to trying to qualify for another U.S. Women’s Open or competing in events occasionally.

After spending years traveling alone on tour, Woods has come to value family above all. She says, “What I truly value most now is waking up and making my son breakfast, even the late-night feeds with my daughter.” The past couple of years have brought significant changes to her life, including the arrival of her two children and the unexpected loss of her older brother.

This profound shift in priorities has made her realize how crucial family is, stating, “Not only have I had two kids in the last two years, I lost my older brother last year unexpectedly. That, in addition to the beautiful blessing of kids, has really reaffirmed the importance of family and being there when you can while you can.”
