Chris Hemsworth Makes Red Carpet Appearance with Family and Prepares for New Roles
Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, recently made a family affair out of the red carpet at the Australian premiere of his new film, Transformers One, in Sydney, Australia. The couple was accompanied by their 10-year-old twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, as well as their 12-year-old daughter, India Rose, although she was not present at the event. Hemsworth and Pataky posed with their sons, who bore striking resemblances to their parents in their outfits. Sasha wore a blue button-down shirt and black pants, resembling Pataky, while Tristan opted for a white shirt and blue jeans, looking like his father.
During the event, Hemsworth shared insights into how his children influenced his decision to take on the role of Orion Pax, also known as Optimus Prime, in the Josh Cooley-directed prequel. He revealed that he consulted his kids, who are fans of the franchise, before accepting the role. “I had gone to my kids and said, ‘What do you think?’ And they said, ‘You have to do it,'” Hemsworth told PEOPLE. His children were also involved in the voiceover process, providing suggestions and trying to distract him during recordings.
In addition to his family and professional commitments, Hemsworth has been engaging in lighter activities. Back in August, he showcased his hairdressing skills by giving his sons new haircuts, which he shared on Instagram. The post included a video and photos of the results, with Hemsworth humorously commenting on his “one true passion” for hairdressing.
Looking ahead, Hemsworth is set to appear in other upcoming projects. A teaser for the 2025 film Green Lantern, which features Hemsworth alongside Will Smith, has recently been released. This new role marks another significant venture for the actor beyond his Marvel and Transformers franchises.
