Cincinnati Bearcats Set to Open 125th Basketball Season Against Western Carolina
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati men’s basketball team is gearing up to kick off its 125th season with a game against Western Carolina on Monday, November 3, at 7 p.m. The game will take place at Fifth Third Arena and will be available to watch on ESPN+, as well as on 700 WLW radio and the TuneIn app.
The Bearcats have announced a series of exciting promotions for their 2025-26 season, which includes 18 home games at Fifth Third Arena. Fans can look forward to a lively atmosphere during the home opener and participate in various themed events throughout the season.
“We’re excited to welcome back our fans,” said head coach Wes Miller. “The energy they bring makes a huge difference for our players.”
Among the promotional events planned, fans can enjoy Flashback Friday on November 7 against Georgia State, where the team will celebrate a classic era of Bearcat basketball. Further promotions include student appreciation nights and community outreach events, such as Hoops for the Holidays on December 17, which encourages fans to bring toys for local kids in need.
As the Bearcats prepare for the new season, they hope to build off last year’s successes and strengthen their presence in the Big 12 Conference, starting with their conference opener on January 3 against Houston.
