Crystal McKinney Files Lawsuit Against Weinstein and Diddy for Alleged Assaults

NEW YORK — Crystal McKinney, a former fashion model, has filed a new lawsuit against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, accusing him of raping her and a friend in 2003. The amended lawsuit was filed in Manhattan Federal Court on Friday and follows her earlier legal actions against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In the lawsuit, McKinney claims she was introduced to Weinstein under the premise of discussing business opportunities after a meeting set up by a modeling executive at a Manhattan nightclub. She alleges that Weinstein became aggressive once they moved to his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park.
“Don’t f— him until he puts you in a movie,” she recalled the executive saying, a comment that bothered her but did not deter her from the meeting due to her ambitions in the film industry.
According to the complaint, Weinstein allegedly provided alcohol to McKinney and her friend, which led to a series of sexual assaults. McKinney describes how Weinstein forced the two to have sexual contact with each other in front of him before he raped them.
Weinstein’s attorney, Imran H. Ansari, responded to the lawsuit, calling the claims “outlandish” and suggested they were timed suspiciously after McKinney’s legal action against Diddy.
McKinney had previously sued Diddy in May 2024, claiming he drugged and sexually assaulted her after a Men’s Fashion Week event. She alleges that Combs forced her to perform oral sex on him after she was intoxicated and realized she had been taken advantage of.
“The assault led me into a tailspin of anxiety and depression,” McKinney wrote in her claims. She stated the attack had long-lasting effects on her mental health, including a suicide attempt in 2004.
As Diddy’s trial continues, he faces serious allegations, including sex trafficking and racketeering. Meanwhile, Weinstein is also facing a new trial stemming from a 2020 conviction that was overturned by appeals judges.
Both men have denied the allegations against them as their respective legal battles unfold.
