Culver City Woman’s Club Hosts January Meeting with Alcott Center Speaker
The Culver City Woman’s Club will hold its first meeting of 2025 on Monday, January 13, at its new location, the American Legion Post on Sepulveda Boulevard. The event will feature Andrea Tan from the Alcott Center, a local organization providing mental health services and housing support to individuals facing homelessness or housing instability.
Doors open at 10 a.m., with the meeting starting at 10:30 a.m. Attendees will learn about upcoming club activities and events while enjoying the opportunity to connect with fellow members. A catered lunch will be available for a small fee, and guests are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
The Culver City Woman’s Club, a non-profit philanthropic and social organization, supports numerous local causes, including student scholarships, veterans’ services, foster care, and food banks. The club also partners with organizations like Meals on Wheels, the Lange Foundation, and Shoes for the Homeless to make a difference in the community.
“Our club has much to offer,” said a representative. “We welcome new members to join us in making a positive impact while enjoying fun and rewarding activities.”
