Dairy Queen Celebrates 85 Years with Sweet Blizzard Deals

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Dairy Queen is celebrating its 85th anniversary with a special deal for its beloved Blizzard treats. From March 24 through April 6, customers can purchase small-sized Blizzards for only 85 cents with a minimum $1 purchase through the app.

This limited-time offer is available for all Blizzard flavors, allowing fans to enjoy their favorites or try something new. Each customer is limited to one discounted Blizzard.

In addition to this celebratory deal, the fast-food chain is launching its summer Blizzard menu starting March 31, featuring both new and returning flavors. Among the new offerings is the Mixing Bowl Mashup Blizzard, which combines brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough with Dairy Queen’s signature soft serve ice cream.

The Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard, another new option, features creamy cheesecake pieces, chocolate chunks, strawberry topping, and soft serve. Returning favorites will include the Confetti Cake Blizzard, a mix of cake pieces and sprinkles with vanilla soft serve, and the Cotton Candy Blizzard, which features cotton candy topping and sprinkles.

Notably, the S’mores Blizzard will make its comeback after winning a recent fan vote to select a flavor from the “DQ Freezer,” a playful term for retired flavors. The S’mores Blizzard blends marshmallow-filled chocolate bars and graham crackers with vanilla soft serve, first introduced in 2013.

The announcement comes as Dairy Queen prepares to treat customers to a summer full of icy delights. The new menu and deals coincide with celebrations of its rich history in ice cream and fast food, marking a tradition that has delighted generations.
