Danica Patrick Trump Address Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following President Donald Trump‘s latest address to Congress on Tuesday, former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick publicly criticized Democratic representatives for their protests during his speech. Patrick, a known supporter of Trump, described the address as ‘epic’ and expressed dismay at the behavior of some lawmakers who interrupted the President.

‘I have been trying to find the right words to describe the performance of the left last night. I can’t say any of them out loud,’ Patrick posted on X, highlighting her disappointment. Texas Representative Al Green was notably removed from the chamber after shouting at Trump, claiming he lacked the mandate to cut Medicaid. Other Democrats displayed signs advocating for Medicaid and veterans’ rights amidst Trump’s remarks.

Patrick expressed her views during a campaign stop for Trump in Pennsylvania during the 2024 election cycle. In her Instagram story, she stated, ‘Those who couldn’t stand for the ways that America has been made better, safer, stronger, and more American will be miserable for a long time.’ She added that the ‘golden age’ is here, while criticizing the Democrats for their actions.

In discussing Trump’s policies, which included stances on ‘wokeness’ and recent tariffs imposed on Mexico, Canada, and China, Patrick remained enthusiastic about the successes she perceives from the Trump administration. Trump claimed during his speech, ‘We will take in trillions and trillions of dollars and create jobs like we have never seen before.’

Patrick’s critique also included a reference to CNN, where she watched commentary on the Democrats’ conduct. ‘CNN contributing analyst just called the paddles held up by the Democrats last night performance art not governing,’ she noted. ‘I just think it’s true.’

Patrick, who has been open about her political alignment, cast her first vote in the 2024 election for Trump. ‘I made a rule for myself that if I didn’t vote, I could not have an opinion about the outcome,’ she explained. ‘Not this time. I voted for Donald Trump and I can’t wait to have him make America great again.’

As a prominent figure in both sports and politics, Patrick continues to leverage her platform to share her feelings on current events, often unapologetically voicing her opinions on the political landscape.
