Devin Booker, Nike to Release Flagstaff-Inspired ‘Book 1’ Sneaker
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker and Nike are set to release the second iteration of his Arizona-themed signature sneaker, the Nike Book 1, this time inspired by Flagstaff. The new colorway, dubbed the “Flagstaff” edition, will hit stores on Feb. 15 with a retail price of $150, following the successful Jan. 1 release of the Sedona-inspired version priced at $140.
The Flagstaff edition features a green outer base, symbolizing the city’s iconic pine trees, and a gum bottom for a more traditional look. The back heels display the words “Flagstaff” and “no service,” a nod to the area’s remote charm. The shoe also includes a tongue tag showcasing the San Francisco Peaks and a sunset motif, paying homage to the northern Arizona landscape.
Booker, who spent much of his offseason in Flagstaff, expressed his connection to the area. “I think it’s all about balance,” Booker said in a recent interview. “Living the fast-paced lifestyle we do, having time to sit back and get away and reflect. That’s the perfect place for me.”
The Sedona edition, released earlier this month, featured red and orange hues inspired by the town’s famous rock formations. Both designs are part of Booker’s collaboration with Nike, which blends retro aesthetics with modern performance. The Book 1 line has quickly gained popularity among sneaker enthusiasts, with the Flagstaff edition expected to follow suit.
Nike has not yet confirmed whether the Suns-inspired player-exclusive (PE) colorway, featuring a white leather upper with purple and orange accents, will see a general release. However, the brand has hinted at future drops, keeping fans eagerly anticipating what’s next in the Book 1 series.
