Los Angeles Dodgers 2024 World Series

Los Angeles baseball enthusiasts have been given the opportunity to secure their place at Dodger Stadium, with the Los Angeles Dodgers releasing tickets for prospective 2024 World Series games on Thursday morning. Fans are also able to purchase parking passes in advance, according to team announcements.

The Dodgers, a significant presence in Major League Baseball‘s postseason landscape, have made a limited number of tickets available for potential National League Championship Series Games 6 and 7 against the New York Mets. Certain cardholders were granted early access to presale World Series tickets starting Tuesday, reflecting the high demand for these critical matches.

Historically, the Dodgers have had a dominant run in the National League West, winning the division 11 times within a 12-year span. The only deviation from this streak occurred in 2021 when despite setting a then-franchise record with 106 victories, the Dodgers were narrowly surpassed by the San Francisco Giants. In 2016, they became the first team to win the NL West four consecutive years since the start of the Divisional Era in 1969, ultimately extending that record to eight years.

In terms of overall division titles since 1969, the Dodgers follow only the Atlanta Braves with 14 titles and the New York Yankees with nine. The Dodgers have consistently maintained strong performances, securing at least 90 victories in every full season since 2012, except for the pandemic-shortened 2020 season during which they achieved a 43-17 record, the equivalent of a 116-win pace over a full season.

Should the Dodgers advance past the Mets and reach the 2024 World Series, they are slated to host Games 1 and 2, and if necessary, Games 6 and 7, thanks to their league-best record ensuring home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The exact start of the World Series remains contingent on postseason outcomes, with tentative dates set for either Tuesday, October 22, or Friday, October 25.
