Donna Kelce Not Ready to Date, Focused on Enjoying Life

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, revealed she is not interested in dating or relationships during a recent conversation with former Golden Bachelor star Joan Noles. The 71-year-old made the revelation while watching a Kansas City Chiefs game with Noles, who shared the details during an appearance on a podcast.

“Honestly, no. She’s like ‘Really? I am good,’” Noles said when asked if Kelce was ready to mingle. “She’s doing just fine, she’s enjoying her life, as she should. I don’t think she’s where I am.”

Noles, 67, explained that the conversation naturally flowed into personal topics, given their previous interactions. “We’re women. It wasn’t our first meeting, we know each other. We spent time together before, so yeah, I quizzed her,” Noles said.

Kelce, who was honored in PEOPLE’s 2024 issue last October, previously opened up about her divorce from her ex-husband, Ed Kelce. “I was a commercial banker for a bank in several different states. I wanted to get ahead. I worked really, really hard. I was a major breadwinner in the family,” she said. “And I think it’s important for kids to see that a woman can do whatever she wants, but I did stand still, too.”

She added that she and her ex-husband stayed together for their children despite their marriage not working. “Ours was a very friendly relationship. So, we could do that and make sure that their life was normal as possible. But in that one respect, I did stand still for several years until I could move on on my own,” Kelce said.

Kelce’s focus on her personal happiness and independence has resonated with many, as she continues to enjoy life without the pressures of dating. Her sons, Travis and Jason Kelce, have also been supportive of her journey, often sharing their admiration for her resilience and strength.
