Eagles Extend Las Vegas Residency Amid Overwhelming Demand for Concerts

LAS VEGAS — The Eagles have announced an extension of their ongoing residency at Sphere Las Vegas due to overwhelming demand. Four additional concerts are scheduled for September 5, 6, 12, and 13, bringing the total number of shows to 36 spanning from September 2024 to September 2025.
Sphere Entertainment made the announcement following the group’s successful performances that celebrate their legendary catalog. The additional shows promise an immersive experience for fans, featuring a combination of the Eagles’ classic hits and innovative staging. Tickets for the new dates go on sale March 28, with prices starting at $175, inclusive of taxes and fees.
According to a statement from representatives of the band, the residency not only delivers a musical tribute but also channels the Eagles’ storied roots through a unique fan experience created in collaboration with Live Nation’s travel and music company, Vibee. This includes a thematic pop-up installation called Hotel California located in the Venetian Resort.
The Hotel California pop-up immerses fans in an environment inspired by the Eagles’ 1976 iconic album. This installation features memorabilia including vintage photos, Joe Walsh‘s collection of hotel keys, and a recreation of the original neon sign from the Hotel California Tour.
“What they’ve crafted not only amplifies their legacy but also offers devotees a genuinely special experience,” said a review from Billboard following the band’s opening night concert at Sphere.
The Eagles’ residency includes the popular Troubadour VIP Lounge, which replicates the West Hollywood venue where Don Henley and Glenn Frey first met in the early 1970s. Inside, fans can view rare memorabilia such as Henley’s first drum kit and drink themed cocktails as they celebrate the band’s history.
With an extensive discography, the Eagles are renowned for hits like “Hotel California,” “Desperado,” and “Take It Easy,” creating an engaging concert that typically features around 20 songs each night. During their inaugural show on September 20, 2024, fans enjoyed classics as part of a visually stunning performance, enriched by cutting-edge technology.
As the Eagles prepare for their additional September performances, they join an exciting lineup at the Sphere, featuring other artists like Kenny Chesney, who will start his residency in May, and the Backstreet Boys.
For those who cannot attend the concerts in person, ticket outlets such as Vivid Seats and Ticketmaster will facilitate purchases, ensuring fans have access to the exclusive experience. The Eagles continue to make waves not only with new performances but also with various collectible merchandise available exclusively at their shows.
