LOS ANGELES, CA – Early reactions from press screenings of the latest film in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” have surfaced, showcasing a mix of excitement and apprehension surrounding its release.

Press screenings began on May 12, 2025, and reactions are flooding social media as the embargo lifted Monday night. Critics have described the film as “astonishing,” “jaw-dropping,” and the “action movie of the summer.” These sentiments build anticipation ahead of official reviews scheduled for Wednesday.

The film, the eighth installment in the franchise, has faced significant expectations following production delays and a budget now nearing $400 million, making it one of the most expensive films ever produced.
