East Tennessee State University (ETSU) has made history with its marching band becoming the first Tennessee band to perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This significant achievement highlights the university’s commitment to excellence in music and performance arts.

In addition to this milestone, the university’s women’s basketball team has also been making waves. On Thanksgiving Eve, the ETSU women’s basketball team secured a decisive victory over Presbyterian, winning 64-31. This win showcases the team’s strength and determination as they continue through their season.
