Egov Magazine: Two Decades Of Shaping India's Ict Based Trends

eGov Magazine, a pioneer in the field of eGovernance, has been instrumental in documenting and disseminating India‘s ICT-based trends over the past two decades.

Founded by Dr. Ravi Gupta, the magazine quickly established itself as the go-to source for government officials, policymakers, and industry experts interested in technology-related developments. With a focus on eGovernance initiatives, eGov Magazine has bridged the gap between administrators and IT professionals in India and internationally.

As the digital landscape evolved, eGov Magazine celebrated significant milestones, including its 50th and 100th editions, marking India’s progress in technology adoption. The magazine’s commitment to showcasing success stories and sharing insights from key stakeholders has played a crucial role in shaping the country’s eGovernance journey.

In 2014, with the rise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, technology and eGovernance took center stage in India. The government launched the Digital India program, aimed at transforming the country into a digitally empowered society. PM Modi’s emphasis on technology and innovation paved the way for new eGovernance initiatives and projects across the nation.

Amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, eGov Magazine continued its mission of promoting ICT-based solutions and best practices. The 200th edition of the magazine coincided with the global health crisis, highlighting the importance of technology in mitigating the impact of the pandemic.

Collaborating with state governments, eGov Magazine has produced special souvenirs and publications to showcase the achievements and initiatives of various regions. Notable collaborations include partnerships with Vibrant Gujarat Summit and the Invest UP Department of Uttar Pradesh, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Now, as eGov Magazine prepares to launch its 250th edition, the publication remains a driving force in India’s eGovernance landscape. The magazine’s unwavering commitment to ICT-based initiatives and its role in connecting government officials and industry experts have positioned it as a leader in the tech journalism sector.
