Emily In Paris Season 5 Cast And Locations

PARIS, FranceNetflix‘s hit series “Emily in Paris” is gearing up for its fifth season, promising more drama, romance, and cultural exploration. The show, which debuted in 2020, follows Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) as she navigates life, love, and career challenges in Paris and beyond.

Season 4 left fans on a cliffhanger as Emily moved to Rome, leaving behind her love triangle with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). Creator Darren Star confirmed that while Emily will spend time in Rome, Paris remains the show’s central location. “We’re not leaving Paris,” Star told Deadline in September 2024. “Emily is working in Rome temporarily, but Paris is home.”

Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel, expressed mixed feelings about his character’s development in recent seasons. “In season 1, there was a lot of me in him,” Bravo told IndieWire in October 2024. “But as they made him unaware of his surroundings, it became less fun to play. I want to see Gabriel return to his playful, cheeky self.” Despite his reservations, Bravo has signed on for season 5, which begins production in May 2025.

The upcoming season will explore cultural differences between France and Italy, with scenes filmed in both Paris and Rome. Star teased that a third destination, possibly Megeve, is also under consideration. “It expands the universe of the show,” Star said. “Emily is thrown into a new country where she’ll experience fresh challenges.”

Meanwhile, Lucien Laviscount, who plays Alfie, confirmed his return as a series regular. “I love playing Alfie and bringing him to life on screen,” Laviscount told Us Weekly in October 2024. “The show brings light and love to people, and I enjoy being part of it.”

As for Emily’s romantic future, Star remained tight-lipped. “Gabriel and Emily have unfinished business,” he told Deadline. “Whether they end up together or not, there’s more to explore.” Fans can expect the same mix of glamour, humor, and heartbreak when “Emily in Paris” returns in 2025.
