Eminem Puts Diss Track On Hold, Declares Loyalty To Detroit Lions

Eminem, the legendary rapper from Detroit, has shown his unwavering support for the hometown team, the Detroit Lions, throughout their thrilling run to the NFC Championship game. Despite their heartbreaking loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Eminem continues to bleed Honolulu blue, dark steel grey, and white.

In a recent tweet, Eminem revealed that he had put a planned diss track aimed at the team’s offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson, on hold. This decision came after rumors circulated that Johnson had turned down head coaching offers from Seattle and Washington to stay with the Lions. Eminem expressed his gratitude towards Johnson for staying with the team, emphasizing his desire to keep the team intact, especially since he considers himself a part of it. He also expressed his admiration for Lions coach Dan Campbell and pledged to lead the team to the Super Bowl next year.

The Lions’ magical season brought new hope to the team and their fans, as they came close to securing their first-ever Super Bowl appearance. However, their dreams were shattered when they squandered a 17-point lead in their match against the 49ers, resulting in a devastating 34-31 loss.

Throughout the Lions’ playoff journey, Eminem took to social media to rally behind the team. His earlier tweets celebrating their achievements and his willingness to join the team garnered attention from fans and players alike. The cameras even caught Eminem hyping up the crowd during a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, decked out in Lions gear.

Eminem’s loyalty to the Lions extends to his family as well. His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, shared pictures from Sunday’s loss, where she was seen wearing a custom Lions jacket alongside her fiancé Evan McClintock, Eminem’s half-brother Nate, and her sister Alaina Marie Scott and her husband.
