Eos Energy Secures 750 MWh Supply Deal with MN8 Energy

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 21, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc., a leading American energy company, has signed a supply agreement with MN8 Energy. This deal allows Eos to deliver up to 750 megawatt-hours (MWh) of its next-generation Z3™ zinc-based battery energy storage systems (BESS) for various renewable projects. The initial deployment will target 200 MWh of storage systems with a 10-hour energy discharge duration.
The agreement aims to provide clean and reliable power for high-demand sectors such as data centers and commercial facilities. It reflects a growing trend toward sustainability and resiliency in energy supply. “The agreement with MN8 marks another major milestone in Eos’ commercial momentum and demonstrates continued confidence in our technology and our domestic manufacturing capability,” said Justin Vagnozzi, Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Eos.
As the demand for clean energy continues to rise in the U.S., this collaboration enables Eos to meet the needs of critical customers facing increased energy load growth. Eos’ zinc-based systems are designed to offer non-flammable, flexible, and dispatchable energy solutions. These systems help facilities achieve their carbon-neutral goals while maintaining operational resilience.
This partnership not only strengthens Eos’ commercial pipeline but also underscores the company’s commitment to advancing American-made energy solutions. Eos plans to support MN8’s energy portfolio further within the PJM and other U.S. markets, providing a reliable long-duration energy storage capability.
With the MN8 agreement, Eos continues to prove its innovative technology. Coupled with its proprietary DawnOS™ operating system, Eos is positioned to handle America’s growing energy demands sustainably. This agreement represents a strategic step in enhancing grid reliability and national security through advanced storage technology made right here in the USA.
