Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj provided an update on the absence of AAP MP Raghav Chadha from election campaigns. Bharadwaj revealed that Chadha is currently in the United Kingdom undergoing eye surgery after facing complications.

Bharadwaj expressed concern over the severity of Chadha’s eye condition, noting that there was a possibility of him losing his eyesight if timely treatment was not provided. Nonetheless, he expressed optimism for Chadha’s quick recovery and his return to India to resume campaigning for the party.

Despite being physically away for medical treatment, Raghav Chadha has remained active on social media, commenting on various developments within the AAP party. This includes updates on Arvind Kejriwal‘s health issues and allegations of medical negligence during his time in Tihar jail.

In April, Chadha and his wife Parineeti Chopra attended the London India Forum 2024 event where they engaged in discussions and shared insights on various topics.

The AAP party has recently seen significant challenges with the arrests of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in connection to the Delhi Liquor Policy case and a subsequent money laundering case. To support the party’s Lok Sabha campaign, Sunita Kejriwal has stepped up and led a roadshow in Delhi and other states.
