Abhay Singh Chautala Meets Mayawati Ahead of Haryana Assembly Elections
Amidst the escalating political activities in Haryana ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, a crucial meeting between Abhay Singh Chautala, the General Secretary of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), and Mayawati, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the supremo of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), has sparked speculation in the state.
The meeting, held at Mayawati’s residence in Lucknow, focused on discussions regarding key national and state issues. Following their meeting, Abhay Chautala took to his social media to share insights on their deliberations.
Speculations are rife post this significant meeting about a possible alliance between BSP and INLD for the Haryana Assembly elections. However, neither party has made an official statement regarding this speculation yet.
The Haryana Assembly comprises 90 seats, and the last election saw a coalition government formed by BJP and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP). This year, the alliance between the two parties ended, replacing Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar with Naib Singh Saini as the new CM candidate from BJP.
