Heslin suffered an unexpected cardiac event that led to his hospitalization for a week, ultimately resulting in his untimely death on July 2.
Notable for portraying Polo in two episodes of Sheridan’s ‘Special Ops: Lioness,’ Heslin’s talent and presence resonated with audiences.
The news of Heslin’s passing was shared by his heartbroken husband, Nicolas James Wilson, who is known as Scotty Dynamo on social media.
Wilson described Heslin as a kind and generous soul who had been a pillar of support during Wilson’s battles with cancer.
The couple, married for just eight months, had dreams of starting a family together, with Wilson expressing how Heslin was meant to be a father.
Wilson shared that Heslin’s act of being an organ donor has allowed four other families to benefit from the gift of life.
Aside from ‘Special Ops: Lioness,’ Heslin’s acting credits include Lifetime‘s ‘The Holiday Proposal Plan’ and the 2020 series ‘The Influencers.’
Heslin also made a memorable appearance on the TV Land series ‘Younger,’ starring Hilary Duff.
