In the clip, which was shared on August 19, the famous *Clueless* actor seemed puzzled when she found a fruit that looked like an orange cherry tomato while strolling in England.

«Okay, I’ve discovered something that I can’t figure out what it is and I need your help,» she mentioned, as she held up the fruit for viewers to see.

During the video, she confessed that she bit into the fruit while discussing it with friends. Silverstone expressed doubt about whether it was a tomato, noting that the leaves of the plant looked different.

After showing a squashed version of the fruit on the ground, she questioned, «What the heck is this?» She also highlighted how it had seeds similar to those found in a pepper.

Concern quickly spread among her followers, many identifying the fruit as a Jerusalem cherry, known to be toxic. This fruit is part of the nightshade family and can cause serious health issues if consumed.

Fans flooded the comments section, worried about Silverstone’s well-being and asking for updates. Comments ranged from shock to disbelief that she would taste something unknown.
