Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant Tie the Knot in Grand Mumbai Ceremony

Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his childhood friend Radhika Merchant exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. The extravagant event, reportedly costing around $300 million, attracted a host of international guests, including Khloe Kardashian, Rajnikanth, and a slew of Bollywood celebrities such as the Bachchans, Kapoors, and Khans.

The star-studded affair was also graced by the presence of notable figures like US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti, Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser, and Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Lee. Popstars Rihanna and Justin Bieber added to the glamor with their performances during the months-long celebration leading up to the wedding.

Leading up to the wedding, popular fashion Instagram account Diet Sabya unveiled Radhika’s bridal look, showcasing her custom ensemble by Abu Sandeep Khosla. Radhika paid homage to the Gujarati bridal tradition of ‘Panetar’ with a ghagra embellished with layers and a detachable trail, along with a 5-meter head veil and tissue shoulder dupatta.

For her Vidaai, Radhika, the daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant, donned a stunning Manish Malhotra lehenga. Photos and videos from the ceremony captured the couple, both 29 years old, partaking in traditional rituals such as the garland exchange ceremony and the vibrant ‘baraat’ procession where celebrities like Rajnikanth, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and US wrestler John Cena were seen joyously dancing to Bollywood tunes.
