Several exit polls released on Saturday predict that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) led by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and JanaSena, is likely to secure victory in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections. The polls by Peoples Pulse and TV5 Telugu forecast a significant majority for the TDP-led alliance.

The exit poll results for the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections were unveiled after the completion of voting on May 13 across the 175 assembly seats in the state. The official election outcome declaration by the Election Commission is scheduled for June 4.

The Peoples Pulse and TV5 Telugu exit polls indicate that the TDP and its allies may secure between 111 to 135 seats, while the YSRCP is expected to win about 45 to 60 seats. These predictions suggest a substantial shift in power dynamics within the state.

Current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is facing a challenging political scenario according to pollsters’ forecasts. The TDP, BJP, and JanaSena coalition under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are posed as strong contenders.

The ruling YSRCP is banking on its welfare initiatives and public outreach in Andhra Pradesh, while the TDP-BJP-JanaSena combine is leveraging anti-incumbency sentiments for electoral gains.

Speculations on the Lok Sabha Elections in Andhra Pradesh suggest a substantial performance by the NDA, with wins in 19-22 seats out of the total 25. The opposition YSRCP is anticipated to secure 5-8 seats as per the News18 Poll Hub survey.
