Angelo Gabriel, the promising 19-year-old Brazilian winger, has officially signed with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in a transfer deal worth approximately €23 million (£19.4 million).

The young talent has committed to a five-year contract with the club, which is notably captained by Cristiano Ronaldo. This transfer comes only a year after Gabriel joined Chelsea from Santos in Brazil.

As part of the agreement, Chelsea retains a sell-on clause for any future sale of the player. This move follows Gabriel’s loan spell at Chelsea’s French sister club, Strasbourg, where he contributed three assists but did not score in 21 Ligue 1 appearances during the 2023-24 season.

Angelo Gabriel made history in 2020 by debuting at the age of 15 years and 308 days, becoming the youngest player in Brazilian top-flight history. Additionally, he holds the record for being the youngest player to score in the Copa Libertadores, achieving this feat at 16 years old in 2021.

Over his time at Santos, the Brazil youth international made 129 appearances, scoring five goals before his transfer to Chelsea. On the international stage, Gabriel has represented Brazil at the Under-20 level three times but has yet to be called up to the senior national team.
