2025 Aston Martin Vanquish

Aston Martin has unveiled its latest flagship performance car, the 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish, which continues to embrace the traditional V12 engine amidst a growing trend towards electric vehicles.

This new Vanquish model replaces the retired DBS and is positioned as the top offering in the Aston Martin lineup. The company plans to produce fewer than 1,000 units per year, although specific pricing information has yet to be disclosed.

The Vanquish is designed as a response to consumer concerns about the disconnected driving experience often associated with modern, heavily electrified cars. It features a powerful V12 engine that generates 824 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, enabling the vehicle to reach a top speed of 214 mph.

The construction of the Vanquish includes a bonded aluminum body structure and a suspension system designed for enhanced performance. Aston Martin claims that this model is 75% more rigid than the previous DBS, thanks to additional underbody stiffening.

Equipped with advanced Bilstein DTX dampers, the Vanquish offers customizable driving modes including GT, Sport, and Sport+. The vehicle features electrically assisted power steering to improve the driving feel while maintaining a direct connection between the steering column and the body structure.

The Vanquish maintains a classic Aston Martin aesthetic with its long hood and muscular design. It features a prominent grille and unique vents that extend into the doors, contributing to its aggressive appearance.

Inside the cabin, Aston Martin prioritizes luxury with extensive use of quilted leather, contrasting with many competitors that favor minimalistic designs. A 10.25-inch display screen and wireless Apple CarPlay capability are included, although Android Auto compatibility is not mentioned.

While the Vanquish may appear traditional in some respects, it represents the culmination of Aston Martin’s expertise in gasoline-powered supercars. The company is also preparing to launch the hybrid supercar Valhalla later this year.
