Bajaj Auto is set to make history by launching the world’s first CNG Bike, named Freedom 125, in the Indian market. The company has already opened registrations for the bike ahead of the official launch.

The technical specifications of the bike have not been officially revealed yet, but it is expected to come equipped with a powerful engine ranging from 100cc to 125cc. The bike is likely to feature a small petrol tank along with a 2-3 kg CNG cylinder, enabling it to travel up to 500 kilometers on a combination of CNG and petrol.

The expected features of Bajaj’s CNG Bike include circular LED headlights, compact side view mirrors, covered CNG tank, long single seat, hand guards, alloy wheels, front disc brake, and a digital speedometer. The bike may also come in multiple variants catering to different preferences.

Leaked blueprints have provided insights into the design of the CNG Bike, suggesting a double cradle frame to support the cylinder, with the possibility of placing the cylinder beneath the seat. The fuel nozzle for filling CNG could be located in the front part of the bike. The model name could be either Bruzer or Freedom 125, as per media speculations.

Bajaj Auto has already initiated registrations for the CNG Bike, with anticipated showroom prices ranging between INR 80,000 to 1 lakh. Limited units of the bike may also be offered at a special price during the launch. Official confirmation on the pricing and final details is expected at the unveiling event.
