Baksa District Tops Assam Class 12th Result 2024, Pass Percentage at 97.44%: AHSEC Declares Results
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has officially announced the results for the Assam Class 12th exams. The Baksa district emerged as the top-performing district, boasting a record-high pass percentage of 97.44%. The results are now available on the official websites of AHSEC, resultassam.nic.in, and ahsec.assam.gov.in.
The AHSEC conducted the Assam Class 12th exams from February 12 to March 13, with a total of 2,73,908 students appearing for the examinations. Of these, 2,42,794 students successfully qualified the exams, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 88.64%. The pass rates for the different streams were Science – 90.29%, Commerce – 88.28%, Arts – 88.24%, and Vocational – 85.78%.
Students who wish to check their results can visit the official websites or utilize the mobile app ‘Upolobdha’ for easy access. The app requires students to enter their AHSEC HS roll code, roll number, and a captcha code to view their results swiftly.
In a press statement, Assam’s Education Minister Ranoj Pegu congratulated all the students on their performance. He highlighted that the girls outperformed the boys across all streams, emphasizing the hard work and dedication exhibited by the students throughout the examination process.
