Ballon d’Or Power Rankings Unveiled After Euro 2024 and Copa America Finals
The Ballon d’Or power rankings have been released following the conclusion of the Euro 2024 and Copa America finals, showcasing the standout performers from the prestigious tournaments. Leading the rankings is Rodri, the midfield maestro from Spain who plies his trade at Manchester City.
In second place is the Brazilian sensation Vinicius, representing Real Madrid, while the young English talent Jude Bellingham also features prominently after his impressive displays for both England and Real Madrid.
Another Real Madrid star, Dani Carvajal, secures the fourth spot in the rankings, having enjoyed a successful season winning the La Liga and Champions League titles alongside his teammates.
Rounding up the top five is Lautaro Martinez, the Argentine striker who plays for Inter Milan. Martinez played a pivotal role in securing back-to-back Copa America titles for Argentina and was the tournament’s top scorer.
Throughout the year, Rodri claimed the Premier League trophy with Manchester City and later triumphed in the Euro 2024, where he shared the glory with his Spanish compatriot Carvajal.
Carvajal’s achievements extended beyond the Euro success, as he also clinched the La Liga and Champions League trophies with Real Madrid, alongside the likes of Bellingham and Vinicius.
Meanwhile, Martinez’s heroics saw him score the crucial match-winning goal for Argentina in the Copa America final, capping off an exceptional season that included winning the Serie A title with Inter Milan prior to the international tournament.
