Barbie and Taylor Swift Shine at Kids’ Choice Awards 2024

At the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Barbie and Taylor Swift were big winners, dominating multiple categories with their talent and popularity.

Barbie scooped up several coveted awards, including favorite movie, favorite movie actress for Margot Robbie, favorite song for Taylor Swift’s “What Was I Made For?”, and favorite music collaboration for “Barbie World” by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.

Taylor Swift also had a triumphant night, securing three wins for favorite female artist, favorite global music star, and favorite ticket of the year for The Eras Tour. Additionally, Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce, was honored as favorite male sports star.

Olivia Rodrigo, known for her album GUTS, was awarded favorite album at the event, and she also took home the prize for favorite female TV star for her role in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

Post Malone, the favorite male artist winner, and Imagine Dragons, favorite music group, were among the other music stars celebrated at the Kids’ Choice Awards 2024.

Billie Eilish clinched favorite song for the third time, tying with Harry Styles for the most wins in the category. The viral song prize went to Sabrina Carpenter for “Espresso,” while Bella Poarch received the favorite social music star award.

The event was hosted by SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, adding to the animated fun of the evening. SpongeBob SquarePants, the iconic cartoon character, naturally won the favorite cartoon category, coinciding with the show’s 25th anniversary.

Special moments at the awards show included performances by Paul Russell and The Kid LAROI, a tribute to tennis legend Serena Williams, and a halftime spectacle featuring Jelly Roll, Heidi Klum, and a marching band. The crowd was thrilled by the underwater reveal of Jack Black as the favorite villain.
