A Nigerian cosmetic doctor, Oluwafemi Tijion Esho, based in the United Kingdom, has faced a significant setback in his career after being found guilty of misconduct with a patient, leading to the loss of his medical licence. Esho’s case came to light following a report by Daily Mail and subsequent investigations by the UK’s Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) in Manchester.

The tribunal revealed that Esho, who runs the Esho Clinic with locations in London, Liverpool, and Dubai, engaged in improper conduct with a female patient at his Newcastle clinic. The patient, identified as an OnlyFans model, was reportedly offered free Botox injections in exchange for sexual favors.

According to the panel, evidence showed that Esho and the patient exchanged sexually suggestive messages on Instagram over a period from 2019 to 2022. Despite initially denying any physical contact with the patient, the tribunal determined that Esho had indeed engaged in sexual intercourse with her at his clinic in 2021.

Furthermore, the panel found that Esho had explicitly stated to the patient that he could provide Botox treatments in return for sexual services. This conduct was deemed sexually motivated by the tribunal, leading to the decision to revoke Esho’s medical licence.

In his defence, Esho admitted to the inappropriate nature of his interactions with the patient and expressed regret for his actions. While maintaining that there was no physical sexual contact, he acknowledged the unprofessionalism of his behavior as a medical professional.
