However, the one potential stumbling block for Leipzig’s title aspirations could be the impending departure of Xavi Simons, with the Dutchman likely to return to parent club Paris Saint Germain unless Die Roten Bullen can secure a permanent deal.

While Carro’s perspective may come as a surprise to many, the battle for Bundesliga supremacy is set to be an intriguing one as Bayern sets their sights on reclaiming the title from Leverkusen.
