As the deadline nears on May 1, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is gearing up to reveal India’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Former cricketer Irfan Pathan suggests a key strategy for India’s team, emphasizing the need for a strong bowling lineup with two wrist spinners, Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav, in particular. Pathan asserts that Jasprit Bumrah is a must-have bowler in the squad.

Sources from the Press Trust of India indicate that most of the T20 World Cup squad has been decided, with a few positions left to finalize. The selection committee is monitoring Hardik Pandya’s fitness to bowl and deliberating on the inclusion of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Shivam Dube in the final squad.

With the deadline for the official announcement fast approaching, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar and Captain Rohit Sharma are poised to engage in discussions regarding the squad’s composition. The rumors suggest that an informal discussion is set to take place in Delhi before the official announcement in Mumbai on May 1.
