BBC classic sitcom Outnumbered is set to make a triumphant return this Christmas with a special episode packed with nostalgia and chaos, featuring the original beloved cast members.
The special reunion will see Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner reprise their roles as Pete and Sue Brockman, alongside the show’s former child actors, including Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche, and Ramona Marquez.
Set in the downsized home of the Brockman family, the festive episode will explore the challenges of parenting grown adults as Pete and Sue navigate the complexities of family life during the holiday season.
Created by Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, the special promises to deliver the trademark humor and heart of the show, with the Brockmans facing a series of obstacles that threaten to derail their attempts at a traditional family Christmas.
Alongside this announcement, the BBC unveiled a lineup of comedy commissions, including new seasons of popular shows like Not Going Out, Mammoth, and The Power of Parker, as well as exciting new series like Funboys and Smoggie Queens.
During the comedy festival in Glasgow, the network also teased these upcoming projects, setting the stage for a festive season filled with laughter and entertainment.
