Billie Eilish Spends Time with Colorado Rescue Dogs Before Concerts
BOULDER, Colo. — Grammy and Academy Award-winning artist Billie Eilish devoted some time to a heartwarming visit with rescue dogs in Colorado earlier this week. The acclaimed singer-songwriter was in the Boulder area ahead of her scheduled performances in Denver. Eilish spent her day at Brighter Days Dog Rescue, as reported by the organization in a social media post on Tuesday, expressing their appreciation for her visit.
«Today our pups got to spend the day showered with love from Billie Eilish and her wonderful team,» Brighter Days Dog Rescue shared on their platform. They added, «We all needed this after the tough week we’ve had with losing Bear and having another sibling hospitalized. It’s so great to see an artist with such a large platform use it for good and to help the animals and the world. Keep up the good work.»
The artist included this stop as part of her activities during her «Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour,» which features performances at Denver’s Ball Arena. The stop at the shelter was part of Eilish’s initiative to engage meaningfully with local communities during her tour.
In collaboration with another shelter from Commerce City, Brighter Days facilitated a meet-and-greet with animals at the concert venue. Becca Orin, the founder and director, explained the team responded to a request from the venue to provide some animal companions backstage. Along with dogs and cats, the team also brought a pony named Samson, who received particular attention from Eilish and her crew.
Orin shared, «This is not the first time we have brought animals to Ball Arena for the artists ahead of their performance, but this was the first time the artist was kind enough and generous enough to let us take pictures and give us permission to post them on social media.»
Billie Eilish continues her «Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour» with another scheduled sold-out performance at Ball Arena in Denver. Her activities, both on and off stage, continue to captivate her audience while supporting local communities and causes.
