Bobby Lashley Targets AEW World Championship at All In Texas Pay-Per-View
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has set his sights on the AEW World Championship as he participates in his first AEW pay-per-view event. Lashley, who made his debut with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at the end of last month’s Fright Night Dynamite episode, is now a member of the Hurt Syndicate. In his debut, Lashley left a significant impact by attacking Swerve Strickland.
This week, Lashley competed in his inaugural AEW match during the Dynamite show, and he is now preparing to face off against Swerve Strickland at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event. As he prepares for these matches, Lashley has already expressed his ambition to compete for the AEW World Championship at next year’s All In event, scheduled to take place in Texas.
Lashley stated, «I want to be either defending the title or fighting for the title. I’ve won the ECW Title, WWE Title, TNA Title. AEW Title. I want to get it because I can, based on history, background, and who I am, I can have that title and it would be justified.» His comments underline his experience and previous successes across various wrestling platforms.
He further added, «I’m not an easy person to get to. When you get to it, you don’t necessarily want to be there. I want to get the title match and I win and win, but now I have the title match and it’s ‘Oh shit.’ Once I do that, I think it would be good for a lot of people at AEW to have that immovable object to get over. I can be that for a lot of people.»
