Boil Water Advisory for Local Cities
The city of Longueuil has issued a boil water advisory affecting Boucherville, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, the Saint-Hubert borough, and parts of the Vieux-Longueuil borough.
This advisory comes after a drop in water pressure, which was caused by a technical issue linked to a power outage.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to boil their water for at least one minute before using it for drinking or cooking. This warning is in place until further notice, with a minimum requirement of 24 hours.
To find out more about which specific areas are impacted, people can refer to the official communications from the city.
The city understands that this situation may cause some inconvenience and thanks everyone for their patience.
Updates will be provided, and once the boil advisory is lifted, the city will share this information through its official channels.
