Boomplay to Host Industry Seminar on Africa Day Featuring Industry Experts

Africa-facing music streaming platform Boomplay is set to organize an industry seminar on its live audio channel BoomLive to commemmorate Africa Day celebrations.

The seminar will focus on showcasing the continent’s music landscape and discussing challenges and opportunities in sustaining and amplifying local achievements.

It will be moderated by Boomplay East Africa director Martha Huro and feature industry experts including Lanre Masha, Ernest Agbewhe, and Dennis Njenga.

Lanre Masha, co-founder of sub-label MARS and Ernest Agbewhe from Mad Solutions are among the industry professionals who will partake in the seminar.

Boomplay’s seminar signifies the platform’s commitment to promoting African music through an insightful engagement with industry experts.

Recently, Apple Music launched several Africa Month initiatives, and Google collaborated with the African Union on the #DiscoverMyAfrica Shorts Challenge, all aimed at celebrating African culture and music.
