Borralho Climbs to Top Five in UFC Middleweight Rankings
In a significant achievement in the mixed martial arts community, middleweight contender, Borralho, has successfully entered the top five rankings of the UFC. The Brazilian fighter, hailing from Sao Paulo, has improved his record to an impressive 7-0 in the UFC after a unanimous decision victory over former title challenger, Cannonier.
This victory, which took place at the UFC Fight Night main event inside the Apex in Las Vegas, was marked by judges scoring the fight in favor of Borralho with scores of 49-45, 49-45, and 48-46. Borralho’s strong performance throughout the match has solidified his position as a rising star in the middleweight division.
Despite facing challenges during the fight, including being hurt multiple times, Borralho managed to outland Cannonier in total strikes, showcasing a striking tally of 141 to 84.
