British Nigerian actor, director, and producer, Wale Ojo, emerged victorious at the 10th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2024, clinching the esteemed title of Best Lead Actor for his remarkable portrayal in the compelling drama ‘Breath of Life’.

Born on the 9th of September 1968, Wale Ojo’s acting prowess shone brightly amidst competition from talented actors such as Stan Eze and Gabriel Afololayan, showcasing his longstanding impact in the film industry.

With beginnings in Nollywood and a foray into Hollywood, Ojo’s journey as an actor commenced in his early years, with a notable breakthrough in 1995 through his role in ‘The Hard Case‘. His stellar performance in ‘Phone Swap’ earned him the Best Actor accolade at the 2012 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
