Carrie Bickmore made quite the splash on the red carpet at the Logies in Sydney on Sunday. The former host of The Project showed off her bold fashion sense in a stunning black gown that had some daring slash details.

The one-shoulder design of her dress featured a thigh-high split, putting her toned legs on full display. To complete her look, Carrie paired the gown with sleek, strappy black heels that had eye-catching metallic rose accents.

Accessorizing with a stack of chunky gold bangles and fine rings, Carrie kept her makeup warm and inviting, opting for a dark pink matte lipstick. Her gorgeous blonde hair cascaded down in soft waves, adding an extra touch of glam.

During a recent chat on her Hit Network show, Carrie opened up about her struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, revealing she has faced these challenges since her early twenties. Her co-host Tommy expressed surprise, pointing out how comfortable Carrie appears in front of the camera.

Carrie shared, “A lot of the time it makes me extremely uncomfortable.” She described the feelings of shame and embarrassment that often came with her anxiety, and how talking about it made her anxiety worse.

Reflecting on her early career, she recalled how she sometimes had panic attacks while reading the news on air, and would mask them with coughing or laughter. Carrie admitted she almost turned down her hosting role on The Project due to her fears but ultimately decided to embrace the challenge.

“I said yes to The Project and ended up doing it for 14 years,” she said, highlighting her determination to not let anxiety hold her back.
