Celebrating Sri Vikhanasa Maharshi Jayanti
Tirumala celebrated the auspicious occasion of Sri Vikhanasa Maharshi Jayanti on Monday. This event highlighted the importance of the Vaikhanasa Agama in Indian culture.
The celebration took place at the Astana Mandapam, organized jointly by the TTD Alwar Divyaprabandha Project and the Sri Vaikhanasa Divya Sidhanta Vivardhini.
Various scholars took the stage to discuss the significant contributions of Sage Vikhanasa. They emphasized how the ancient Vaikhanasa Agama includes essential teachings that guide the spiritual journey of individuals.
Sri Srinivasa Dikshitulu, the secretary of the Sri Vaikhanasa Divya Sidhanta Vivardhini, highlighted that Vaikhanasa Agama is one of the oldest texts. He shared insights on how these ancient guidelines are practical and beneficial for everyone.
During the event, Sri Sanath Kumar, the treasurer of the organization, spoke about the various methods presented in the Vaikhanasa teachings, crafted by the revered sages of the tradition.
Numerous Vedic scholars also took this opportunity to elaborate on the writings of Vikhanasa Maharshi, attracting the attention of many attendees.
In attendance were representatives from the Vikhanasa Trust and numerous students from the Dharma Giri Vedic Knowledge Institute, making it a truly enriching event.
