Charli XCX to Perform at Minneapolis’ Target Center in 2025
In a much-anticipated announcement, British dance-pop sensation Charli XCX has confirmed that she will include Minneapolis in her upcoming 2025 tour. The performance is scheduled for April 26 at the Target Center as part of a newly announced leg of her widely celebrated «Brat» tour.
The tour marks Charli XCX’s return to Minnesota, having skipped the state in her 2024 tour. This time, the artist will perform at the 18,000-seat Target Center, a significant upgrade from her last Minnesota performance in 2022 at the Palace Theatre, which has a capacity of 2,500.
Known for hits like «Guess» and «Boom Clap,» Charli XCX has been capturing the music industry’s attention following the success of her album «Brat.» This success has seen her transition from supporting acts in venues like the U.S. Bank Stadium and Xcel Energy Center to headlining major arenas.
Tickets for the Minneapolis concert will be available starting Tuesday, with pre-sales beginning at 10 a.m. and a general on-sale at 2 p.m. the same day. Prices for the tickets are yet to be announced, but the high demand is anticipated, as «Brat» has brought her increased popularity over the past year.
Hints about the upcoming concert were revealed earlier in the week with the emergence of «Brat»-themed lime-green billboards across the city. Fans are also speculating about the involvement of Troye Sivan, who collaborated with Charli on her «Brat» tour and has frequently joined her on stage.
The April concert in Minneapolis is one of only five dates announced, with others in Rosemont, Illinois, and Austin, Texas, as well as two performances in Brooklyn, New York. These events follow Charli XCX’s planned appearances at a major music festival in Indio, California, earlier in April.
