Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network Launch Jr. Broadcast Competition
The Chicago Sky, in partnership with Marquee Sports Network, has announced an exciting opportunity for young sports enthusiasts. The Jr. Broadcast Competition invites youth ages 14 years old and younger to showcase their skills in sports commentary.
Participants are encouraged to submit a 30-second video demonstrating their play-by-play commentary of a Chicago Sky game. This is a unique chance for aspiring broadcasters to express their creativity, articulate their thoughts, and share their passion for sports.
Entries will be judged by a panel of experts from the Chicago Sky and Marquee Sports Network on clarity, knowledge of the game, creativity, and overall passion for sports. The competition aims to find the next big talent in sports broadcasting.
Winners will be awarded a VIP experience, which includes two tickets to the upcoming game against the Indiana Fever on August 30th, along with an exclusive swag bag. Additionally, winners will have the opportunity to join the Marquee Sports Network team for a special broadcast segment.
This competition emphasizes the importance of original content, requiring participants to create their own videos without using copyrighted material. All submissions must be made through a designated Google link, and only one entry is allowed per participant.
