Philadelphia 76ers have announced the extension of the popular ‘Bricken for Chicken’ promotion by Chick-fil-A for the entirety of their home games during the NBA playoffs, in an effort to enhance the fan experience and boost home-court advantage.

The promotion, which typically operates during the second half of Sixers’ home games, will now be in effect from start to finish, starting with Game 6 against the New York Knicks at the Wells Fargo Center.

Sam Class, the owner/operator of Chick-fil-A, expressed the positive impact of ‘Bricken for Chicken’ in energizing both fans and the team, aiming to create a vibrant and supportive atmosphere for the Sixers.

Amid concerns of opposing fans dominating the arena, particularly highlighted during Game 4 against the Knicks, this move is strategic in rallying local fans and fostering a true home-court advantage.

Following the Philadelphia 76ers’ victory in Game 5 against the Knicks, the extended promotion will continue throughout the playoffs, including potential future series against teams such as the Indiana Pacers or Milwaukee Bucks.

The ‘Bricken for Chicken’ promotion allows Sixers fans to receive free chicken nuggets through the Chick-fil-A app following an opposing player’s consecutive missed free throws, with nugget counts varying from 5 to 12 based on the outcome.

This initiative not only aims to reward fans but also to amplify the enthusiastic support within the Wells Fargo Center, ensuring a lively and engaging environment for the team.
