Children’s Day Celebration: Apostolic Faith Church Abuja Hosts Musical Concert for Kids
No fewer than 500 children of the Apostolic Faith Church Abuja children’s choir dazzled the audience with a musical presentation on Sunday evening at the church area headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.
The concert which was organized in commemoration of the 2024 Children’s Day was tagged, “Melodies to the almighty.” The two-pronged musical concert featured songs composed by erudite music scholars such as Ludwig Beethoven, Joachim Johow, and Johann Pachebel.
The children also displayed their talents on musical instruments such as violins, violas, flutes, and trumpets among others.
The children also sang in various Nigerian languages such as Yoruba and Efik.
The excited audience chorused “Amen” after each rendition and the mood in the capacity auditorium was upbeat with the entire environment enveloped with excitement.
Children’s Day, which is celebrated in Nigeria on May 27 annually, is dedicated to celebrating children all over the world and for adults to remember their childhood experiences. The excitement of the day is palpable as it’s a special day to recognize, honor, celebrate, and appreciate children.
