Zhu Ting, the 29-year-old star outside hitter, makes a significant return to the national team after her impressive performance in the recent VNL.
Joining the Rio champions are players like Li Yingying, Wang Yuanyuan, and Wang Mengjie, who represented China in the Tokyo 2020 Games, adding both experience and skill to the roster.
China has been drawn into Pool A for the Paris Olympics, where they will face tough competition from defending champions, the United States, in their opening match at the South Paris Arena on July 28.
Other challenging matchups await China as they take on hosts France and world champions Serbia during the group stage of the competition.
